Bob Evans is the President and Founder of Force Fin, and its Master Fin Designer. Some people call him the Fin Doctor. For over 25 years, he has been designing the world's finest fins. At the forefront of every major finnovation, including the Force Fin, which introduced to the scuba diving industry the use of fin flexibility, power and recovery to increase the efficiency of fins, and fins that use the naturally efficient movement of a swimmer's kick, with open toe foot pockets that cantilever to power from the most efficient leg muscles for kicking. The Slim Fin is a premiere swim fin. The Slim Fin is a tapered down small fin version of the Force Fin for swimming. The Extra and Excellerating Force Fin were designed using IBD, or Individual blade control, that enables a diver to change the dynamics of his or her fin blade, by twisting the Force Wings, or winglets that attach to Extra Line Force Fin blades. In 1998, DEMA, the Diving Education and Marketing Association awarded Bob Evans as "Best of Show" for introducing split fins to the scuba diving industry. Force Fins are a fin of preference for military divers and professional scuba divers around the world and were worn by Jens Honer, formerly "Hilbert" to set his world record breaking fin swim.
