They're efficient and comfortable. Great for SCUBA divers and snorkelers who want to enjoy the freedom of the water. Like all Force Fins, the Foil Force features:
We at Force Fin are able to offer our Foil Force Fin independent of all the legal hubabaloo and royalty charges that all other split fins pass onto you. Force Fin is able to do this because we came up and legally disclosed the idea first! Our Foil Force Fin is the best, and here is why: The accepted way to market split fins, in general, is that they act like a propeller, instead of a paddle. The basic concept behind the use of a paddle is that you push and pull against the water using its resistance to move you forward. A propeller on the other hand, directs water over directionally rotating curves. We all know that propellers are more efficient at moving ships through water than the old paddle wheel steamer, so it all makes sense. Or does it? The problem is fins do not rotate and they cannot provide continuous forward thrust so how can they be propellers? Unlike our Foil Force Fin, the others will not even stay on your feet without a strong heel strap. Those others are no more than two paddles on a single fin allowing each small paddle to achieve the required angle of attack more easily. Unfortunately for you this high angle is turned the wrong way! And their flat design allows so much water to slip through the split that very little is left to be directed behind the diver. Our Foil Force is different, each petal of the Foil Force Fin flexes perpendicular to your body allowing the high angle to direct water behind you. It is the combination of the 3 dimension shaping and the materials used that give this fin its structure and its ability to free you from your terrestrial daily life and enter the aquatic world.
