About Ft. Lewis Scuba
Fort Lewis Scuba is an MWR Morale Welfare Recreational Fund Fascility. They are limited to sales to military and government personel. They supply both retired and active duty with great prices on great equipment. They are a full service PADI Dive Center (# 20365). They carry all major brands including Force Fins because they are rugged fast, fun and easy to put on and off. In short, their customers can get their jobs done wearing Force Fins. Many of their Force Fin sales are to the Special Forces Dive Locker.
Local Diving
There are 197 local dive sites mapped in their area. There is current diving at the Narrows Bridge, where you can check out Galloping Gerdie, the original bridge that fell down two days after it was built. They do deep diving at either Dalco Wall or K.V.I. Towers. Dalco Wall is a multi level step deep dive with loads of scallops. KVI Tower is a deep dive with loads of Rat Fish and cool man made reefs and octopus. There are also local discovery dives anywhere in Puget Sound.
